And Phil (Oddball), you may not participate :) thank you. Anyway, it is about 7 inches. Notice the serration on the side of the body. But similarities with a tiger shovelnose coloration, and body shape.

it's a tsn x ripsaw catfish hybrid. They have been appearing here and there. I would love to get my hands on a few of them to grow out, but I had to wait till they had more in and it was warmer. I am going to try and order a few. How big is your's, and how long have you had him? What's he eating, ect?

he is about 6-7 inches. I got them from TFDFish. Very nice coloration indeed. He eats beefheart, but small pieces.

Beautiful catfish. I have to get some of them. Do you have more pictures of him you can share? Head shape towards the snout kinda reminds me of bagarius sp. lol. Let's see that hybrid bagarius yarelli x tsn!

yeah that's an easy one...i have both parts of that hybrid, and my lfs in front of my apartment has one of those guys.

I'm going to try and take pictures while he is hunting or eating. He kinda reminds me of a Niger cat eating..cause I never see a TSN eat with a "snout". It's pretty cool. If joe at TFD Fish (www.tfdfish.com) still has some in a couple of weeks, I will get a couple of them...or maybe even more. How's about a giraffe cat, and a redtail cat :) Bagarius and Lince cat would be very cool :)
