Can someone please ID this fish

I was sold this little guy as a red bellied piranha, but now I'm starting suspect this is a red bellied pacu instead.
So can you guys please ID him for me?

I'm no expert on piranha or pacu but it does look like a a pacu

Id say its a pacu too the lower jaw don't stick out past the upper

That's what I was tanking aswell. If it does turn out to be a pacu, I guess I'm taking another ride to the LFS for a refund.

+1 on pacu. Piranha you can tell by the teeth and the size and color
