I keep joining different sites in the hopes of aquiring knowledge from others. However that's difficult seeing as no one is responding to my questions. Please I would appreciate any advice on my Pseudopimelodus Apurensis. I love this fish but my knowledge of this species is general at best. He's been attacked by a smaller Red Devil and is suffering from two wounds. I would like to know how hardy they are, and about his regenerative powers are.

I am not familiar with that species. Does it have a common name? We want to help you.

I don't know that species, but pimelodids are hardy..separate it from the red devil and give it rest...do a good wtare change and leave it be...go easy on the salt ( it at all ).

Thank you for the responses. The catfish has a relative in the bumble bee catfish if that helps. He is called a Jelly or Jello catfish. Just like the Gulper catfish their known for their huge mouths. I know about their overall length, diet and ph, but no personal observations about their hardiness or personality. Like are they active swimmers, if they are are they nocturnal or what.
