The vid is not clear enough to see the ventral area and without properly venting the fish, any answer you get will only be a guess.

Thanks for the info. How can I tell by venting the fish. What's the males suppose to look like vs the female. What temp should I set tank to? Tank currently at 80 degrees.

Thick tube female, thin tube male.................

To put it simply.


The males vent will be thinner and usually point towards the tail fin. The female will be larger in size and much rounder as per pic above.
