Anyone??

Anyone?

I feel alone?

Okay, i can't say this for sure, but since your not getting any replies i'll throw in my 0.2 cents...

Depending on the type of eel your planning on putting in with them, i'd be worried about the dwarf puffers nipping the eel to no end since they are known to be nippy and aggressive... but in all honesty, most people will tell you its a gamble mixing a puffer with any fish... so unless you don't mind losing an eel / puffer, i'd probably not risk mixing the two species...

puffers can be nippy towards others, so I would be cautious about that, especially with bottom fish like eels (especially small eels)

anyone else have thoughts on this....

my eel used to hide all day so puffers biting it i wouldnt worry too much about. but u would never see it. plus spiney eels and peacock eels can hunt fish so..... yeah. let us know if u do it.

I don't think the puffers would do well in a group but you may have luck raising one with your eel. I've thought about the same combination myself, but in a larger tank.

I had thought of getting dwarf puffers in the past and done some research, I'm no expert but in my opinion it would be a bad idea. Dwarf puffers are intolerant of tankmates and I pretty smart too so I don't think the eel would be able to withstand their attacks/defend itself and also the puffers would be a perfectly sized snack for a full grown peacock eel.
