can stingrays sting other fish?

Sorry for the dumb question but I recently got my first ray and it is great. It is a 7" motoro. It seems that when lights are off, it likes to hang out toward the top and sits on my return pipe. I don't really like it up there because my aro has jumped and hit tops a few times ripping its scales pretty good. I don't know if ray is bothering but is it possible for rays to sting and kill other fish?

i believe the death of one of my bichirs was caused by one of my rays stinging it

my motoro gets very aggressive at feeding times... she literally pushes the other fish out of here way, she thrashes around to scare them off then hogs all the food.. that's why i put the food in two separate spots.

Yes, usually it only stings fish that are attacking it.

Good question! In saltwater I have had lionfish sting and kill other fish, not sure about the fw rays though.
