I think all the jerks how decided that "certain" fish could not be owned in Cali because if they were to be introduced into the local waters they could survive ARE IDIOTS!!! Maybe they haven't noticed that it's so cold outside that my nipples fell off last weekend or maybe they haven't noticed that 75% of our citrus crops are RUINED! There is no freakin way that a ray would survive here. I HATE THIS PLACE!!! Maybe I should take an assault rifle to the next meeting to ban more species...OH WAIT...I CANT GET AN ASSAULT RIFLE EITHER!!! Isn't it funny that we can have alot of things here...but we crank out like 90% of the countries porn.

yah, california is too liberal.

you cant modify your car
you cant own a gun magazine that holds over 10 rounds, also any rifle that can accept a magazine that can accpet over 10 rounds is considered an assault rifle which you also cant have
not easy to get a concealed carry permit
you cant have certain fish
you cant go fishing at night in some places
theres no cruising on weekends
cant smoke in bars, the bar should have the choice not the government

and more..

so like, bordering that state is Nevada, which is the complete opposite of California.

we can modify our cars, we dont have to get bar certification to pass emissions with a new motor
we can own gun magazines of any size shape form
we can own assault rifles
concealed carry permit easily attainable if you are not a criminal or have a criminal backround
we can have any fish we want except pirahnas and the endangered ones, and federally illegal ones
we can fish wherever we want at whatever time
cruising the strip is a welcomed activity

however, since more and more Californians, their politics, and politicions are moving to Nevada, it seems like they are trying to put the same laws in effect. the smoking laws for instance.. one just passed very similar to the California law.. no offense to non smokers or smokers.

its just a matter of time before we Nevadans have the same exact laws and governing as California.

We need those assualt rifles for when the commies come. The emmision thing on the car is a good idea I think. but the banning of fish is stupid, they should just make people get permits own those species and maybe have the fish get microchips like dogs. that way if some idiot releases his fish and someone catches it, he can get fined or whatever. I know that wouldn't really work that well but it would make people think first, I would hope.

I don't get half the other laws they have over there, but some of them I'm sure make sense in the big picture. the one on car modifications...I hate the dirt bike sounding cars as much as the next guy (especially if the car has no real balls, I've beaten one of those guys in a jeep cherokee. not a grand cherokee, a regular one the speedometer only goes to 85, blew the doors of a honda civic with the dirt bike pipes) but it shouldn't be illegal unless it makes the vehicle dangerous.

I think there are hearings at certain times for states. Because I know oregon or a bordering state was going to ban piranhas and a bunch of people fighting for the cause who were very educated on the subject went and spoke in the fish's defense and got them not to pass the ban. But you'd have to find out when that is, how it gets re-brought up, and be very educated about whatever fish you want to un-ban to save it.
