Few days back I came across someone's reply to a post saying that he had a Fish Highway. What the heck's a fish highway and what is it made of ??

Any way I was wondering what are the ways to connect tanks ... Pics if possible...

Well... you COULD set up a predatory tank right next to a community tank.

When you find one tank empty, stock that one.

I once did this when I was very young, it was between two small tanks.

Just had a cylinder with a valve in it. It was used to clean the two tanks...heard all fish into tank B, clean tank A completly out. Open valve and move fish over and clean fish tank A.

It was nothing like this though.

I once saw something advertised that connected 2 or more tanks. It was a clear elbow pipe and I guess you just put it at the end of each aquarium to connect them and somehow get the tube to fill up with water and BAM! The tanks are now connected.

yes, it exists. check in the net under fish highway. there are huge systems available ...

I guess you could take a large u shaped tube at least a foot wide and rig it between two adjacent tanks. Then, figure out a way to get all the air out of it and it might just work on pressure alone if stable enough. It would work because my imagination said it would work:D .

That is interesting though would be really cool to see.
