My dad has an aquarium with a female managuense, and a male Oscar. I've read that parachromis can only really breed with a couple things, but they're showing wicked breeding signs, clearing one foot spots and nipping at the ground and going around each other, the mana is nipping at the oscars belly, she's big with eggs.. I just don't know if his sperm and fertilize a managuense's eggs, if they're compatible. My dad would love them to breed just to see what the babies look like, I'm not a fan of hybrids, but just wanted to know if it's possible. Thank you in advance:) if it is possible, and you have experienced it, if you could post a pic then I would be ridiculously grateful.

I have no idea but if successful those fish would be weird, get your camera out and see what you can see, strange things can happen but i would guess its not gonna fly

but you never know may be a million dollars in there next gen fh style

Oscars can't breed with them.

Agreed. Oscars being a SA Cichlid can only breed within its own genus but the Managuense being a CA Cichlid can breed with any other CA Cichlid.
