my wife has a bluegill and she was wan'ting to breed it with a texas cichlid but she doesn't know if they can breed i don't know much about this fish just that it's a bulegill.WE'VE been told 7 diffrent answers by 5 people i just want to know what you guys think.

bluegills are not even cichlids in the first place-


so no way of crossbreeding unless you're a brilliant scientist and can splice genetic code and come up with a kickass mutation

FYI texas cichlid is the only known native species to the united states so therefore- would be little bit hard to find another cichlid let alone..........
