can this guy fit into a 30gal?

Gets around 20 inches or so, give or take +/- 4 inches.

They usally grow to a foot in less than 18 months if given the correct space and needs. Dont buy them unless you plan to rehome pretty soon.

hehe very big fish, i was at my lfs the other day and they had a clown knife in one of the displays. He was about 60cm (i think thats 24inches??) very impressive but he was much too big for the tank. So if you put that in a 30g i think it would be all fish no water
