Can tigrinus catfish tolerate abit of salt?

I just bought a tig and i was wondering if they can tolerate some salt in the tank for healing minor scratches and stuff.

Yup, It's in with mine all the time. Used to have six of them. Never had salt issues.

i usually add aquarium salt... API makes it or you could go to the home depot and get the morton water softening salt... which is the same thing!
