Anyone here ever keep true parrots or sev's with the tougher CA's (parachromis, amphs, vieja/paratheraps) long term and successfully? Is it even do able?
Can true parrots and severums hang with CA's?

Possibly doable - they're a completely different league of fish though, I don't see the appeal in it.
Yeah just wondering. I saw an atabapo sev and thought it looked cool, then I stopped and said to myself "nah forget it, the bifa's gonna punk that fish".
I keep my true parrot with some vieja and parachromis. All is good. The parrot is about the same size as the alpha male vieja in the tank. They just have their own territory and they never mess with each other.
