Would like to get some general info on stingrays such as fresh/brackish species, diet, tank size and necessities. I know these questions are broad but just now starting my research..... Also, what species would be good for a beginner?

i agree with the room plus ask the lfs how long they had the ray and tell them to feed the fish before you buy.redtailfool said:Its ok to have pelvic bones sticking out as newly imported rays are most likely skinny as long as it has a good appetite. But i wouldnt buy a ray with a recessed forehead. That is beyond skinny.
