i temperley puting them with bigger goldfish untile i arrang a new tank for them

they r peacful together

but i'm wondering , r they matur to breed ?

they r 2"

N. splendens (helianthus), I have them also =] I absolutley love this fish, bad attitude for a small fish and stand up well to the big ones, a joy to watch!! One of my fav. fish. Mine eats like a pig too. I beleive they grow about 2.5-3 inches. They are a smaller African and are pretty well mature at this point. I would love to breed them but havent tried yet, let me know how it goes if you are sucessful.

They may have helianthus in them but they are certainly not pure.
Some of the coloration and pattern may be consistent with helianthus but the gill plate markings and shape and color of the head and mouth are simply not consistent with pure helianthus.
The inconsistency in gill plate markings between the two is also another "hybrid flag". One has opercular markings that looks more like N. pulcher or helianthus, the other's markings look more like brichardi.
Neither have the facial profile - the slightly upturned, toothy mouth - of helianthus.

I am thinking I have to agree with you there, I didnt even notice the gill plate, it does look completely different from my helianthus. Here is a pic of mine:
