The 1st fish looks Freddie the 2nd pick a few fish, throw them in a blender, mix them together and pow, thats what you get. That 2nd fish resembles nothing I have ever kept or have seen.

1st pic doesn't look pure freddie to me, but that is my best guess too.
2nd pic looks like a low grade flowerhorn(ish) hybrid to me

Its one of those situations that i cant even begin to give clues about their origins. the man that sold me the first pic calls them yellow jaguars. story behind them is years ago he stuck dovii, jaguars and yellow jags together in a pong and when he nets them by the hundred theres a few of these. this is a female. the male version of this fish has less black markings brighter yellow like a salvini and only the markings on the middle of the body and face . the second fish came from another mystery pond. they had mayans and flowerhorn labeled. i did see both of those in the dozens and took some flowehorns, really nice red dragons. they had them labled as king kamfas but i knew they werent. well anyways this was the only one i saw like it in the group so i bought it. i have no idea of its origins. i saw the parents of the flowerhorns. they were red ragons not kamfas.

1: IS a Freddy, just put it in a bag and ship it to me...There are no Yellow Jags, if they are gold like the one AquaMojo had then theres no way there is a whole batch to call them as such. Theyre a color variant that varies.

2: A Red Texas, low grade...you can tell by the Flowerhorn line that its mixed.

If thats a red texas i have no clue how it got in that pond and im going back like tomorrow for more. and dude if u want on of the freddys i get those like i get my eggs by the dozen for $3. lol. i want to go back to get a male they are much more impressive. there is a whole batch of them. this guy has these man made gigantic pponds and he get these enormous nets like 3ft wide and 4ft long and swoops them through and bring out a bait ball looking thing of jags, dovii and these things. for whatever reason i grabbed this one. i should have looked better or gotten more but i was in a hurry in the rain and in knee deep water and crunching shards of trumpet snails into my feet (which took me a week to pull out). ill brave the waters again though and get some more. theyre dirt cheap and maybe this time ill get what i was really there for. dovii ;)

Wow,what the hell dude...I wanna get in on that. NEXT time where some water shoes, they have soles.

From your story, the guy probably has so many different fishes in the pond that he's forgotten whats in there. Damn too bad you dont ship.

I have a Dovii male thats a bit too small for the female. I spotted them out at the LFS but then when the guy went to go get them, they got all mixed so I ended up with the wrong male. Now Im trying to powerfeed and grow him out to match the female.

We have tried every method of avoiding thing in ur feet. but its 2ft of water plus 1ft of just muck. and in that muck is hundreds of trumpet snails with each step. they into anything. they hurt when u step on them and when they crack the shell pieces get get lodged in ur skin. horrible but worth it :D anyways i have been looking for dovii myself i see them in his canals but i can never seem to net them out. like trying to net out one fish in swimming pool. where u cant see but 2" into the water. so yea i want to back to take another shot at it and get a male to the "fredii" this man has no idea what they were going into the pond many years ago he knows less what they are now. many many years ago it might have started with a small group of wild caught fish that were sent to him as yellow jaguar and thats all he knows.
