A 29g could work as a grow-out tank for them. They grow pretty slow, so if you buy a small shoal (5 or 6) of 1 inch CL's they could probably go a year or so in a 29g before needing an upgrade. It takes several years for them to get over 6 inches.

i agree if u like loaches 4 sure get some small clowns you will be happy you grew them out if u get a bigger tank, and if u cant upgrade 6 6" clowns will bring in $$$
