I WANT TO BUY A SINGLE SILVERAROWANA BUT I WANT TO KNOW THAT AT WHICH SIZE SHOULD I BUY SO THAT IT READILY ACCEPT BLOODWORMS/SHRIMP ON THE DAY FROM WHICH I BUY

well arowanas arent pigs like cichilds so it doesnt matter what size you buy, they probably wont eat for a couple days so you should be patient with them since they are sensitive fishes and have special needs. if you havent had any before i suggest you start with a specie bigger that 8" since they are tough in that size and are also extremely beautiful and fun to raise. but if you're afraid try even bigger ones...

Firstly they will be too stress to eat on the first day. And secondly, at all size they will accept bloodworms.

But are you ready for one monster in the making?

i agree that it is best to get arow at 6-7 inch mark.. past the real fragile stage and ask how he eats and what he eats at the LFS so you can continue with the same foods and then wean him onto dry asap.. along with blood worms and shrimp so he will get a varied diet.

start yer young arowanas with premium pellets like pellets with spirulina and pellets with real fish like omega pellets then when he gets bigger use prawn or shrimp.i stuff my shrimps with high quality spirulina that way he gets his protein and veggies .

I would get one that is at least 7", and I would also turn your caps lock off, then remove the button surgically from your keyboard.
