I have two pond lights that turn on based on a timer for about 3 hours at night. And honostly its quite bright, even when I look at it I even get blinded. The fish seem to panic when they are turned on, howevever they don't seem to be afraid of it at the same time, because I constantly see them swim towards it facing right at it. My concern is their sight. Is it possible for pond lights to damage my fish' sight and blind them permanatly?

Don't think so, otherwise they won't be sold.
