Can UV sterilizer eradicate the bacteria....

You have to match the flow rate with the particular bacteria...... Too fast and no killing off..... The slower the better allows a wide margin of error as the dwell time in the UV light is maximized.
I'm pretty sure that you cant count on the to erradicate something..., but rather keep it form becoming a huge pandemic in ur tank..... meds are used to completely get rid of a bacteria..... I wouldnt count on it, but I use them....
