Hi
I have water sprite growing in a way that I do not like as it looks like a backyard garden weed (initially thought it was a weed).

If I cut the whole plant up to the actual water sprite leaves will it kill the plant?

I prefer the water sprite submerged look not the plant out of water . All my water sprite has begun to grow out of the water and has the "weed" look thus prefer to remove the "crown" but don't want to kill it.

Thanks

it should be okay. you have many sprouts along the root. Typically with my plants, the leaves fall off and have their one roots on the bottom, so i just keep reanchoring to get a new plant out of it.

Thanks. Going to trim them all today . By reanchoring what do you mean?

They aren't planted just floating .
