these are pretty cool, and cheap as well, and at 275gal it would make for a nice tank.....

do you guys think the front could be cut out to install a viewing window?

maybe the top could be removed for a indoor pond type deal....

what if i installed a undergravel filter that is also a false floor so that when the drain valve is opened the water will pull all the debris down through the filter and out the valve?????? posible?

i dont know but i might pick one up just because they are cool

They are very popular in back yard aquaponics. Just cut the top off and hey presto instant pond. Becareful buying them second hand though as the are used to ship stuff like olive oil in, which is fine, but they can be used for nastychemicals and those should be well avoided.

when i was upgrading my ray tank i used one of these, just cut it in half and filled it up and off and in went the rays, they where in ther for 2 months with no problem's
