Can you eat a fish that's being treated with melafix?

Melafix is mostly tea tree oil so I cant see why not wait for more responses before you eat your fish tho Im really not sure

I added some melafix to some flounder being used in a study. They will be homeless after the research. They aren't sick, but a couple had red noses from swimming into egg crate.
