can you feed a silver dollars this?

I have a hibiscus tree/plant and was wondering if the leaves would be okay to feed my silver dollar?

I have heard that Hibiscus plant leaves are poisonus to dog and cats. It is supposed to cause vomiting, so i personally wouldnt feed them.

Second the above, though I did find that they will tear through any plant in the aquarium just like a pacu. found that the hard way
