Can you feed your fish carrots?

yeah. why not?

carrots contain beta carotine - thats a naturally occuring food coloring - which will enhance the red in certain fish. I've seen no ill effects.

our texas has had a variety of foods, from roaches, carrots, spinach, lettuce etc etc

i have a friend that used to feed their fishes frozen beef heart which they froze themselves. there are some plecos that require wood in their diet....

i had a friend that fed his pacus dog food. the adult dog dry food type. they tore that stuff up.

i used to feed my cichlids cat food - made the surface of the water all oily though....
