The only knows I know are Zebra Plecos (L-46) and Columbian Zebra Plecos (L-129). The later being the only one I own because the first is too expensive.

zombie pleco :D

too bad you get them

All Pseudacanthicus, Leporacanthicus, Scobinancistrus. They all get fairly big though.

i think that most plecos are omnivores. a high percentage of their diet is comprised of vegetation, but my 12-inch common eats meat. i've seen him do it.

all Hypancistrus sp are predominantly carnivorous, peckoltia often prefer meaty foods but will take veg too, as said above though, the real meat eaters are pseuda's and lepor's

I was gonna say the exact same thing... but do L numbers..

L14, L48, L253, L114, L160, L24, L25, L63, theres too much to list .but those are all i know off the top of my head..

Try planetcatfish.com ;)

it seams that most plecos will entertain the idea of eating some meat. I would say that most of the ones I keep (L14, L25, L137, L47, L91, L128, L200.....and on) have all been enticed to eat market shrimp and frozen bw in addition to their normal diet of wafers.

My colony of vampires are my biggest meat eaters but don't forget there veggies.I have found vampire plecos to love carrots as well.
