Ok, so I bought a maxijet 1200LPH powerhead with airtube connected above the surface. I have it pointing at surface with the FX5 outlet both breaking up the water. The bubbles are great, seems to help airate the water and break the surface layer of particles that sit on the water which I mentioned in another post (probably decaying food or something but almost all tanks get it and it decreases O2 exchange on the surface).
My question - can you have too many bubbles> is it a danger to fish? They start off as quite big bubbles coming out the powerhead which break up into thousands of little ones. Is this a problem, or ok to leave it. (I know you can turn down the bubble volume)
