Looks like a Port Cichlid to me. I've also heard them referred to as Port Acaras.

I had one 20 years ago. He was a beautiful fish with a nice temperament. I have not seen Ports for sale in my area (Maryland, USA) for years.

Nice looking fish.

definately an acaras of some sort don' know which kind tho.

I'd say port also, nice big one too. I believe the scientific name is Aequidens portalgeirensis, or at least it was 20 years ago. I also haven't seen them for sale in awhile. It seems once the terrors became really popular I didn't see any of the other Aequidens species (ports, blue acaras, keyholes) for sale much at all.

Definitely a port cichlid. For years the scientific name was Aequidens portalegrensis, named after the Brazilian city of Porto Alegre, but fishbase now has the species listed as Cichlasoma portalegrense. BTW, I didn't know ports got that big. Usually, 6 inches TL is listed as the max size.
