can you id this snapper

it is a Chelydra serpentina ssp. so some kind of common snapper. A very nice one though. where did you get it? was it W/C or from a pet store. It is also not a true hypo- they are naturally lighter as babies but I can guarantee that it will be dark brown as an adult.
 
Looks like a typical Common Snapper to me. I find ones of similar coloration in the streams, rivers and ponds around where I live.
 
It is just a common snapping turtle. Common snappers are actually pretty variable in color, and I have caught individuals ranging in color from the normal greyish color to some really beautiful rusty orange ones.
 
just a common with a lighter skin tone. will become darker with age more than likely
 
Common? im not sure cause i dont really know about turtles much but im learning right now but yea id say common either way awesome little fella
