I have a fish that I'm trying to identify. They were small(2-3") when I got them and was told that they were A. nourissati. It's pretty apparent that they are not that species, the large male looking more like a Paratheraps or Vieja (zonatus or guttulatus?). But these lack the spangling and spotting. The large male(12") has a turquoise sheen and a bold horizontal black bar, and is deep bodied. The female (9") is much more elongate and to me looks more like a Parachromis. The young male (I think) is about 7" and shows little if any color other than a gold-beige. No speckles or spangling. I've included 4 pics, one of each fish and also a head shot of the younger male. Does anyone have any ideas on what species I might have here?

So do I. I might have an undescribed new species here! LOL. Here's another pic of the 12" male.

Well I suppose it looks very similar to the fenestratus but there seems to be too many differences... at first sight I wanted to say synpillum, but I really suck at IDing..

This looks like Zonatum to me, Aquamojo can handle this :headbang2 if he is available. Lets ask him.
