i usually clean up my 60 gallon cichlid tank once a month ... that includes 80 % water change , gravel vacuum ,and filter pad changes ...its been a month ago since i cleaned it so today when i opened up the filter i saw some kind of white fungy looking thing on the part thats out of the water on the bio media pads ....and also on the part thats in the water but that part is a brownish color as u see in the pics ... ive never had this before what can it be and is it dangerous ???....plz help thnk you

its just the sludge from not cleaning your tank more. you would benefit more by doing smaller, more frequent WC instead of doing one giant one a month.
 
You also should not change your filter pads monthly, as the hold most of your bb. And when you do change them try changing only one at a time. Then like 2 weeks later change the other.
 
Try to shoot for weekly water changes of 30-40%.You will create a more stable enviroment. What do have for stock.

4 flavus , 3 kenyi , 1 peacock, 1 bumblebee , 1 demasoni ,2 auratus ,1 red zebra, 2 dwarf plecos ........
 
Just looks like BB sludge to me... I don't really know what it is, but that's what I call it. I get it too if I dont clean my bio media often enough.
