I live in central Fl and my question is can you keep polypterus in a pond outside my main reasoning is space and I think they would make an interesting pond fish . I know they require higher temperatures but I have seen many people keep alot of tropical fish i.e. oscars , gouramis, african cichlids in a pond outside year round here with no heating . Just curious if anyone has any experience with this or any ideas.
