Do you have a spy camera in my house??? J/k...I just made a hood with two plant lights in it. I have a bunch of pics, just haven't the time to post a DIY thread for it yet.
i now a guy who makes 4 bulb 400w metal hallied lights for $150.should i get onei need it for coral.

450 watt output-disregard the 542 typo $350ish. to your door.
this is a good starter light-you can grow just about anything (if your coral needs more light simply place it higher up in the tank) If you wish to go with higher wattage you will most likely need a chiller.

talk about an electricity bill, i had a 250 watt halide running over my 55 and my bill was $150 over lets just say if your still at your parents house the will not be happy. there great though just gotta watch out for algee
