I dont think it's a female. Disregard any black anywhere at this point because Fading is almost done and that black left on the dorsal or anywhere will not tell you the sex at this stage. Only when it was green still then yes..
It is a rare high quality RT shown in natural form..
Most of the RTs you've seen all red up are all enhanced by lighting.
After the RT or anny fader fades, they will be pale like this but once done fading, they start to color up more and they collect the redness from food they eat as they grow. It will be more red later on when a lil older.
Only problem with RTs at this stage is that the pearls may grow morre into the fish adding too much white which covers most of the red. Espeially from lower half of the body. That will lower the quality of the RT.
But nice one you got there for sure. If you paid less than $300, I think it's a good deal..
PS. Im not into RTs. I like unfaded RT a thousand times better,
