Hello; Yes we do. Saw a report some time back about a province in China. Do not recall how they did it but somehow they killed off all the local bees. They wound up having to pollinate their fruit trees by hand. Also do not know how this worked out.
I push mow my yard and have for decades. Use to see lots of honey bees. Now I see few on the grass flowers. I do see what look like small bumble bees more often now.

Many places are so loaded with bees though that they need supplemental feeding, killing a few hives would probably help the other beekeepers.
They sell a small amount to a local store and have an llc, but its not a huge operation.
My wife wanted to get into this we love honey but luckily its not allowed in our neighborhood. Id imagine it would turn into one of my chores
