Just wondering if they conflict.....anyone have this combo? I'm just wondering if people out there tried this.....or if motoro ray emit electrical signal like CK's.

After reading all the information on rays...I changed my mind....it will not be a realistic idea for me to try and get one here to Hawaii comfortably and also....I plain out just dont have the time for these fragile creatures. Also, being bitten by a fish isnt too bad but a sting from a ray would suck....I love my fish as well....and it wouldnt be fair to toss in something that could possibley kill both my CK and Arowana. That a wrap! ;)

Since both are bottom dwelling, I wouldn't trust it.

Glad you did your research before jumping in...

Ray killing the CK-it might be the other way most rays I have seen are push overs-years ago there was a ray at the LFS and a Hap. Comp. was chewing off it's tail.

the wonder of freshwater elasmobranchs warrants a species-only tank, indeed, but we all want more fish in our tanks... the addiction goes on! top-dwelling species would be better, with the exception of geophagine cichlids, which are reportedly docile ray tankmates.

it could be a gamble.. me id rather have the ray so i wont try it...

Worked for me so there.
