Can you see if this is ich?

Hi,

my Amazon puffers weren’t eating for several days, I saw one or two white spot in them Ike the one in the photo. I used copper sulphate together with Ethacridine lactate Malachite green Methylene blue, as per fish doctor. It has been 72 hours since I saw those 2 white spots in my Amazon puffers. Now,I see that they have started slowing eating but those two spots didn’t disappear. Could I be wrong that thesespots are not ich? Do Amazon puffers naturally have these spots? Should I catch them and try to scratch that area to see if that can fall off? If this is ich then how many more days I need to continue adding the medicine into the tank water? I feel like they are already exhausted with the maximum allowable dose of medicine per day for three consecutive days.

Does it look like grains of salt on the fish, or just like a white patch/lump?
Might be lymphocytosis which is a reaction to stress, and nothing harmful (usually).
I’ve seen white spots on my puffers but it never looked like anything concerning, so I let it be.
Sometimes treating medicine, especially on a sensitive fish like a puffer, does more harm than good. I usually let it be unless something really feels wrong…unless it’s my saltwater tank…then I go crazy lol.
