Can you sex severums

I know that one of mine is a female she layed eggs but nothing came of them cause she didnt have a mate. I have put my other in with her but I dont know if it is a male. Is there any way to sex them?? Bottom pic is the one im wondering if is male. Thanks in advance

Id say no.The 2 most colored up with the best facial markings in my group of 7 were guarding a clutch of eggs a few weeks ago.
 
As far as telling any differences in their faces, I see none the only difference is that the one is question is a lil darker than my female. Thanks for the input.
 
Hard to get a good look at it, but I'm saying male. It's not so much the color, but the pattern. My male changes color all the time, coloring up, and coloring down. Males faces look like worms have been making trails all over them. Females may have some of this pattern, just not as strong. Some say don't use finnage as an indicator, but along with the markings I can see, the long trailers are a helpful indicator.
 
Wow I learn something new all the time here. Recently there was a thread where everyone posted their pics of male convicts with red on their sides and I thought that was weird too.
