Hey guys, I know the best way is going to be to vent the fish, but can you make any determination with these pics..doing this for a friend not too sure about these types of cichlids.

Thats a female. Males have alot more spotting than the females.

thanks everyone...yes she is nice, these pics don't do her any justice, but she has a lot of color especially in her fins!
my friend is now looking for a male lol ...anyone selling one in the nj ny area about 6in leet me know!
