im currently running a fluval 405 on 92g corner unit! but i feel as if i cant store enough filter media and media pouches in it!! is it worth investing in a fx5 or can you name another filter than can keep my tank looking awesome and has spacious room for different medias i was considering a sump but i dont know much about them :/

Fx5 would work great. You could try the Eheim classics. I got the 2217 and it holds a lot, if you don't like the media they give you the space is great to try others. Sump would be the best in terms of flexibility.

If you want lots more media and more options i would say probably a sump. I've seen plenty of DIY articals for sumps as well.

This one is designed for a SW reef tank so you would have to change the media types and possibly the positioning of the compartments, but it was the first one to come up that looked decent in design. so you could go from there and theres plenty more on youtube and im sure some threads here showing ones more for freshwater.
I know some people have done it with rubbermaid totes.

What are your water parameters? Do you have high ammonia or nitrite levels? If your water parameters are fine then your current filter is fine.

My first canister filter was/is a Eheim Pro III 2075. It is an excellent filter but definitely not worth the premium I paid. My Rena XP3 is just as effective.

I have pretty much given up on canister filters and much prefer sumps. A wet/dry sump will add a huge amount of oxygen to the water... a canister will add none. When properly designed it is easy to change the mechanical media in a sump... with a canister it is always a chore. Easy to change = change it more often with my aquariums. Changing the mechanical media more often means removing the debris before it breaks down to nitrates.
