I know you guys have seen your fish show their different behaviors.

I was granted a pair of doviis, and the females does gestures that makes me guess she is calling her fry or signaling it is time to retreat, or hide from a huge "predator". I know there are many others that's observed different behaviors. Time to share it :)

I can really only guess my female t-bar is not happy. She is so dark lately and she rests on the sand as if she's just worn out, but from what I don't know. I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG but I wish I could say, yeah, she's pleased as punch. Or whatever. Just gimme some damn fry, that's what I shout at her. Maybe that's why she seems miserable.

sometimes :) just let nature take it's course :naughty:

I think my male spec. is sad :(. He's been pretty sad lately from his recent behavior. Spends most of his time hiding inside some pvc piping I had for him when before he would always stay out in the open and greet me eagerly for food. I'm sure he'll get over it though

I dont know if i would say that i could tell when my fish are sad but i can definately tell when my guppies are angery, most of them turn a darker color when they are being agressive. That and my yoyo loaches color fades when they get stressed.

i had a snakehead that would change eye colour when ever i put my face up to the glass. It would turn from a dark yellowish brown colour to a brighton yellow. i have a video of it somewhere

when my redtail isnt happy he wont come to the top of the tank and let me hand feed him or pet him he just lays their
