i saw these fish at my lfs and got some the guy said they were jack dempseys and another guy there old me they were hybrids of green terrors and jack dempsys and they had a whole discussion infront of me as they argued. i bout them becuase they looked very cool and i thought why not. so ill post some pictures and tell me what you think they are please:)
they are about an inch to and inch and a half in length. and also (unclear in the pic) they have red at the top of their dorsal fin...

im pretty sure gt's can't hybridize outside their genus... so i doubt thos are jd/gt hybrids... they look like normal jd's
 
yeah not the best i know,
but alright well thats bad news i guess, im going to have to find a home for them i didnt plan on breeding jack dempsy's in my tank. but thanks guys
 
yeah look like regular JD juvies, and yeah GTs are S. American and JDs are C. American so i highly doubt they can hybridize
