Can you use too much of the fish destresser and dechlorination (Mine is a 2 in 1 made by API) Im curious if you use twice as much is it detrimental ? :screwy: Thanks for the input all!

it's chemicals. I'm pretty sure you can over do chemicals.

I've always made a habit of using twice the recommended dosage of Prime when doing water changes....never had any problems.

thanks guys i have to side with the chemicals comment . Im switching to prime

its REALLY easy to overdose with prime..

im prettysure i overdose the hell out of my tanks.. as do a lot of people.. im pretty sure unless you add like half the bottle you dont have to worry too much

ive used a whole bottle of amquel + on my 300 before ._. the fish r still alive since the last time i checked .____.

I have tripled the recommended dosing for Prime a few times before, the fish don't seem to have been affected but I now try to calculate exactly how much water I am replacing and add a little bit extra, I stopped using way over the recommended amount as Prime is costly stuff. I now use Safe, much more concentrated. Works out way cheaper to treat your water.
