Can youth jerseys fit adults?

Thinking about buying jerseys on ebay, but I'm wondering if youth size large would fit someone who's looking for a medium adult jersey....would this fit or would it look weird? Anyone know???

i doubt it, a kids large??? remember also with a jersey chances are you will be wearing a shirt under as well... go to the store and try on a kids large, see if it fits...that would work too. what size is the person that will wear it?

The person wearing it is medium adult, wondering if they could fit a youth large...i'm wondering if the length is shorter for the youth. might look weird on an adult
