so i guess the title asks it all i have a candystripe that is about 1.5 and was wondering if he would be ok in a heavily planted tank. just let me know and any other suggestions would be welcome.

If the planted tank is well established, and growing well, there won't be any problems. Make sure that the roots are well established as well.
I had mine in a planted tank (not densely planted though) but I traded the pleco in yesterday for a Venustus
