Which do you think i should do. Im looking to get some type of filtering system into my planted tank. Right now it has no filter an just power heads n plants. The Co2 is only diffused into the tank. I want to pick up A Aqua Medic Co2 reactor 1000 or DiY my own. This way i can still have a small filter with the tank and still get co2 in the tank. Another idea is get a Canister and just filter the tank, Leaving the co2 as is with the diffusers. The last idea is get a filter plus the AquaMedic1000 and rig the co2 into that aquamedic....?

If your diffusers are delivering enough CO2, just add the canister to filter it. Be sure that the return doesn't break the water surface.
I have the CO2 Reactor 500 from Drs. Foster and Smith. Just bought it for $37. Much cheaper than the Aqua Medic if I remember right. I'm about to put my xP3 on my planted tank in place of the Aquaclear 110 which of course breaks the surface too much.
