Canister or Wet dry filter?

What do you use of your tank and what do you have in your tank and how is it working for you???

wet/dry on all of my tanks ranging from african cichlids to stingrays and it works better than I could hope for. Canisters will work too, but I hate to maintain them.

IMO planted tanks are the only time a canister would be better.
