Would an eheim 2229 wet/dry canister and a fluval fx-5 be enough filtration for a 240 gallon tank?

I forgot to add this. I plan on having 12, 6-7 inch cichlids ( full grown ) and a school of columbian tetra.

When I first got my 265 gallon tank, my LFS sold me two Eheim 2228 canisters for it. In truth, they were enough. My filtration has long since exploded/expanded since then, but, only because I am a filter-junkie!!!

My stock was excessive, yet, the two filters were adequate. I'm actually considering selling some of my filters so that I have less to maintain.

Remember, for any setup, you mileage will vary.
