alrite.............for my 75 i have a penguin 350 and whisper 60......for christmas i have a choice of a a good filter.should i replace the whisper with a magnum 350 pro.i ve probaly asked this before but this is just to clear things up.what benefits would i get fromj this filter.

The person I know with a 350 pro loves it. She has 12 4-5 inch goldfish in a 28 too. I don't think that you should do that, but her water is always clean.

I've got two of the XP3s - had them for about six months now and love them. Easier to deal with all around than Eheim (at least the one I had).

I have to magnum 350's running on my 90gal right now. I havent had a minute of trouble with either. I have a very heavy bioload and my water stays pretty clear. As my fish are getting bigger i am thinking of adding another.

The XP3s hold probably about 3-4 inches of biological media and have several layers of mechanical media of differing degrees of thicknesses to trap debris. They can be customized easily if you want to incorporate different types of floss, etc. and also have a basket for chemical filtration - carbon pouches, etc...
