at the 'Bama Breeze
This is my new little guy. A green terror about 2" in size. A buddy I work with gave him to me for free! Im not too much into cichlids but it looks like hell turn out to be a dandy. Can anyone sex this fish for me?

Yes I know my camera/photography skills suck, but I like showing off my fish!

Haha it does look like a shark with the way the roots from the java fern make the shape of the mouth! Speaking of shark I had a kid (about 17) come to work looking for carbon. Anyway after talking to him he said he had a 300 gallon tank with a tiger shark in it! He said he caught it from florida 8 months ago when it was about 18" long and he said he brought it back (about a 16 hour drive) in a big bucket with just water from the gulf in it. Should I believe it or not?

It's definitely not a tiger shark if it's true.

He probably caught some common cat shark off the shore and thought it was a tiger shark.
 
That is what I figured. I cant imagine a pelagic species surviving for 16 hours in a bucket with out anything other then water they got from the beach before they left. Besides the fact that it is probably illegal for him too!

They cant even keep tigers (not sand tigers, but true tigers) alive for long in public aquariums can they?
 
It is a male very nice one at that females have a much darker base color
